Santhi Hospital is a charitable hospital established in 1988 at Omassery, a quaint village in Malabar. An initiative of Islamic Welfare Trust (IWT), the main objective of this hospital is to make quality medical care facilities available to the common man and the underprivileged sections of the society at an affordable cost.

Santhi Hospital is a 300 bedded multi-specialty hospital. It has made a mark in terms of its medical expertise, nursing care and quality diagnostic services through perseverance and commitment to its goals.

The hospital facilities reach an approximate population of over 10 lakh spread over 375 sq km.


Santhi College of Nursing was launched in the year 2011, with a batch of 31 First year BSc Nursing students. The college is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), and is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Kerala Nursing Council (KNC). It is presently located on the sixth floor of Santhi Hospital, the parent Hospital, and will soon be relocated to its own infrastructure at Venappara, presently under construction, about 3 ½ kms away from Santhi Hospital. The College has hostel facilities for the female students.The College offers excellent learning opportunities to the students, both in classroom learning as well as in clinical experience. On induction, the students are put through an Ice-Breaking Session, followed by Soft Skill Training Program, to assist them with adjusting with the changed environment, besides adapting to the professional demands. They are also exposed to special language training sessions to improve their communicative skills. Special attention is also given to the co-curricular and extra curricular activities to ensure an ‘All-round’ development of the students. Every student has a teacher-mentor, with whom he/she can feel free to sort out personal issues and problems that hinder his/ her progress in the academic front as well as in non academic areas. The college strives to make every student practice effective communication skills, experience value education and develop the right job skills, with the sole objective of churning out gainfully employed professionals.


Heavens Preschool affiliated with IECI (Integrated Education Council India) is a Quranic preschool with a curriculum to motive and mould the pupils personally in accordance with the general prospect of education with special focus on Islamic tutelage. The institution focuses on teaching recitation of holy Quran, formation of good habits and manners, Arabic, English, Mathematics, world around us and Malayalam language. It also promotes better personality traits which guide each child to became a good human being.

Heavens preschool Omassery started in 2014. Situated at Omassery it has now 43 students and 6 teachers. 

The academic profile of Heavens covers Quran studies, language skills,Science study and skill development. It is a 3 year course.


Santhi institute of Medical Technology was launched in the year 1994. The first batch has 82 students for the practical nursing course in 1998. Sathi Institute of Medical technology is affiliated to Bharath Sevak Samaj (BSS) and is following BSS. The institute is located in the compound of Santhi Hospital,the parent hospital.

Santhi academy school of vocational education a hub of Tata Institute of Social science Mumbai, is situated in Omassery, in Kozhikode district. The collage was launched in the year 2018 with a batch of B.voc Dialysis course. The collage is affiliated to the Tata institute of social science deemed to be university.

School of vocational education offers programs for the academic and co-curricular development of the students. Practical training impacted by skill knowledge providers is based specifically defined learning outcomes examination and certification by TISS-SVE beings in the required rigor and promotes high standard.

School of vocational education presently offers five programs beginning with a diploma course and leading to bachelor of vocational degree (B.VOV) in three years. This vocational educational program is being implemented with a focus on job specific skills rather than providing a board knowledge based education. The Bvoc course will enable the students to learn the skill by getting real floor job training along with the theory training in the classroom.

Santhi Palliative Clinic was started in 2003 and the clinic is dedicated to provide specialized medical care for people living serious illness and offers a support system to help patients live as actively as possible until death. Santhi palliative care uses a team approach to address the needs of patients and their families which will enhance the quality of life and may also positively influence the course of illness.

Santhi palliative clinic is registered under Kozhikode initiative in Palliative (KIP). The clinic will open for twice a week for outpatients. The clinic providing services like Doctors Home care, Nurses home care, Volunteers Home care, Volunteers Training etc. Medicines, water bed, Air Bed, wheel chair, Oxygen cylinder, Oxygen concentrator and walker are provided to patients as needed. Omassery panchayath assigned Santhi Palliative clinic to find out the deserving dialysis patients to get financial aid from Snehasparsham project.
